NeoBytes South Asia wins Hyperion Development contract in Singapore based major Shipping Company.
Date: 12-July-2011

The first major development project win by our Singapore (NBSA) team, below is message from Hemanta Banarjee, Managing director of NBSA.

"I am very happy to announce that Singapore based major Shipping company has signed contract with us. We did some initial work with client which helped us establish our credibility and allowed to make inroads into the account. Now we have been awarded the development of their workforce planning application. This company is a tanker carrier and has 122 ships in its fleet including some of the largest oil carriers. This is a critical system needed to plan for the manpower and staffing costs of their ships and will allow the marine personnel departments to prepare their annual budgets in a systematic, precise and uniform manner across all BWFM management offices.

The system will not only allow the users to develop a detailed manning cost per vessel, by rank and nature of expense, it would allow them to perform what-if analysis and reforecast the cost during the year based on planned acquisitions of new vessels. Their planning cycle starts in Sept and they need to have this system live by end Sept so that they can do their budgets in the new system.

The work does not stop here…. With NBSA doing some great work on the BI side, and when we deliver this successfully we can take on other areas within same client that need access to analytics and performance management. This project will be jointly executed by NBSA and offshore in NB Bangalore."

Congratulations to entire NBSA team.
